Drivers Get Hours of Service Relief to Help During COVID-19 National Emergency

FMCSA Offers Temporary Hours of Service Relief in Wake of Coronavirus

March 20, 2020Ashley Preston

To our customers and partners,

If you are normally required to adhere to FMCSA ELD regulations, you may have already heard the FMCSA is offering temporary hours of service relief to help during the national emergency caused by COVID-19.

Not all companies qualify for relief, so please speak with the person in charge of ELD compliance at your organization to determine how this new exemption may affect you and your drivers. There are links to the FMCSA website listed below that outline the exemption details, as well as other helpful information like handouts for drivers to use as needed.

We hope this information offers some guidance on how to get through this difficult time. As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions.
