If the vehicle is in an area with good coverage, please continue to step 2.
Verify the Suntech ST4500 device is getting power:
Verify what combination of LED lights are on, and in what state (e.g., flashing or stable).
Icons are shown in the diagram below.
Note: The LEDs lights shine through the casing of the ST4500. There are no visible LED windows when the device is OFF.
Red LED (Power) | Status | Next Step |

Slow Blinking | Device receiving power | Normal status. Proceed to GPS LED status. |
Fast Blinking | No GPS Fix | If troubleshooting in Step 1 was completed and the vehicle is in an area with good coverage, please contact FTS Support. |
Off | No power to device | Contact FTS Support. |
Blue LED (Network) | Status | Next Step |

1 Blinking LED | Connected to network | No further action needed. |
2 Blinking LED | Searching for network | If troubleshooting in Step 1 was completed and the vehicle is in an area with good coverage, please contact FTS Support. |
4 to 8 Fast Blinking | Connection Error | Contact FTS Support. |
